Small dogs only, and the breed and weight must be reported to the hotel in advance. Dogs are not permitted in the indoor restaurant, and the owner is liable for any damage. The hotel can only be reached by the Gornergrat Bahn from Zermatt, a ride of about 33 minutes, with the last train leaving Zermatt around 18:00 and later in high season. On the railway, small dogs up to 30 cm tall travel free in a suitable carrier, while larger dogs need a half-price ticket, and the on-site restaurant is the only dining option in the area.
