What we've verified
The Penzance promenade runs from the bottom of the hill round to Newlyn for a flat mile of sea air, and the coast path carries on to Mousehole. The beach between Wherry Town and Battery Rocks closes to dogs in the middle of the day through July and August, so the promenade is the reliable summer walk.
Most room types take dogs, but The Nook and The Mini Lookout do not.

Dogs are welcome in most room types. The Nook, The Mini Lookout and selected Comfy Double and Comfy Luxe rooms don't take them, and the smaller rooms suit smaller dogs. The Cottage takes up to three dogs depending on size, and The Lookout and the Chapel Suite take up to two small dogs. The Snug and one of the Comfy Doubles are on the ground floor with side access onto Vandervour Lane, which helps with a dog. Dogs are welcome in the bar and lounge and in parts of the restaurant.
