The Sant'Orso meadow starts across the road. The flat valley-floor path to Lillaz and its waterfalls is about 3 km, and Valnontey, the gateway to the Gran Paradiso, is 3 km the other way. Dogs are only allowed on the park's valley-floor areas on a lead, with a short list of trails opening to them from 15 July to 15 September, so plan around the meadow, the river path and the village lanes.
