In winter the frozen Lej da San Murezzan is right below the hotel, with the snow-packed lakeside path round to the Stazerwald forest and Lej da Staz for a proper morning walk. Muottas Muragl above Pontresina is a short drive for high sunlit trails.

Dogs are allowed in the lobby, the bar, the two-Michelin-star Da Vittorio restaurant and on the sun terrace. The Carlton Spa does not admit animals. Keep your dog on a lead wherever possible. Up to two dogs per room, no cats. Open only from 11 December 2026 to 21 March 2027. The hotel collects guests from St. Moritz station and runs a free 24-hour e-limousine service around town, so ask when booking whether your dog can ride along.
