Excelsior Palace Portofino Coast
Small dogs welcome, with their own reserved corner of the beach club
This hotel is part of the Daisy Curated Collection. Its information has been researched and verified, but Daisy has not yet personally stayed here. When she does, this page will be upgraded to a full Daisy Verified inspection.
What we've verified
The seafront path to San Michele di Pagana and on towards Santa Margherita starts at the door. Rapallo's lungomare and the castle by the harbour are about ten minutes' walk the other way.
Small dogs only, and the beach club area takes no more than four dogs at a time by arrangement.
How the welcome translates in person, at dinner and around the hotel. That's what a Daisy stay will confirm.
Unknown, Supplement charged for the room. A separate charge applies for the beach club dog area.
What we've confirmed, at a glance.
The property.
Verified with the hotel, honestly marked.
Small dogs can stay in the rooms. At the beach club they have a reserved, equipped area, booked in advance, with room for up to four dogs at once. Ask the hotel about the restaurants, bar and spa.
Where we can't yet confirm a detail first-hand, we mark it plainly rather than guess. A Daisy stay will close every gap.
Everything, without the wall of text.
