“A row of seven Georgian townhouses on the south side of Queen Square run as one hotel, with Emberwood, a fire-cooked British brasserie, a bar and a summer terrace, and a thermal-led spa added recently. The location is the best compromise in Bath, walkable to both the Abbey and the Royal Crescent. It suits people who want a full-service hotel without leaving the Georgian grid. Two dogs are allowed per room, which is rarer in the city centre than you would think.
