“Bardo took over the old Mansion on Forsyth Park building and reopened it as a Leading Hotels of the World property, all pink marble, tiled courtyards and a big outdoor pool. It sits at 700 Drayton Street with Forsyth Park directly opposite, which is the single best piece of dog geography in Savannah. It suits people who want a proper resort rather than a townhouse inn, and who plan to walk a lot. The hotel asks you to tell the concierge team about your dog before you arrive, and it keeps pet-free rooms aside for guests with allergies.
