Hotel Burg Schwarzenstein
A dog menu, a proper dog bed and vineyard walks from the door
This hotel is part of the Daisy Curated Collection. Its information has been researched and verified, but Daisy has not yet personally stayed here. When she does, this page will be upgraded to a full Daisy Verified inspection.
What we've verified
Vineyard tracks start at the gate and run down to Schloss Johannisberg, about 1.5 km, and on through the vines towards Geisenheim and the Rhine. The Rheinsteig long-distance path passes close by, and the Rüdesheim cable car up to the Niederwald monument takes dogs free, about 8 km west.
Dogs stay in the castle building's Superior rooms and Turmsuite or in the Parkresidenz, not in the Gästehaus or Comfort rooms.
How the welcome translates in person, at dinner and around the hotel. That's what a Daisy stay will confirm.
EUR 30, Per pet per night, from a booking site
What we've confirmed, at a glance.
The property.
Verified with the hotel, honestly marked.
Your dog can stay in the Superior rooms and the Turmsuite of the castle building and in the Parkresidenz, except the Riesling Suite. The Gästehaus, the Comfort rooms and the Turmzimmer are kept dog-free. Whether she can join you on the terrace or in the restaurants isn't set out, so ask when you book.
Where we can't yet confirm a detail first-hand, we mark it plainly rather than guess. A Daisy stay will close every gap.
Everything, without the wall of text.
