Coronado Dog Beach is a mile north, about twenty minutes along Ocean Boulevard, and it is off-lead all year round. There is a grass relief patch beside the Victorian building, and the Ferry Landing and Bayshore Bikeway make calmer leashed walks.
Dogs to 40 lb, and pit bulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers and Chows are not accepted.

Dogs stay in the pet-friendly rooms and are welcome on the lead at the Sun Deck and the ENO Pizzeria outdoor seating. They are not taken on the beach directly in front of the resort, in the pool areas, the fitness centre, the spa, the salon, the indoor dining rooms, or at Ocean Club, Serea, Nobu or Veranda. On the lead or carried in the public areas, and a waiver is signed at check-in.
