Rantum has several dog beaches, including Tadjem Deel through the dunes just past the edge of the village and the Samoa and Süd 5 and 9 sections. Baakdeel in Westerland is about 4 km north, and the Rantumbecken lagoon walk (dogs on a lead) starts on the east side of the village.
