“An 18th-century Provençal bastide that has operated as a hotel since 1924 and marked its centenary with a Jacques Garcia redesign of the reception, bar and La Table du Pigonnet, plus a new 350 m2 spa (Folie Verte) by Marion Mailaender that opened in spring 2025. Set in a fountain-filled garden a short walk south of the old town, it has 55 rooms and suites including two villas. It suits travellers who want a quiet garden retreat within walking distance of the Cours Mirabeau and actively welcomes dogs with food and water bowls and a pet basket.

Why it's in the collection

The hotel's own large garden with fountains and chestnut trees is a calm on-leash stroll, and the dog-friendly Parc Jourdan (where dogs are welcome on a leash) is roughly a kilometre away, with the leafy Cours Mirabeau a short walk further. For longer outings, Parc de la Torse east of the centre has a stream where dogs can cool off.
