“The oldest working hotel in Poland, on Florianska between the Barbican and the Rynek, with a Renaissance stone portal and a glass-covered courtyard restaurant. Rooms mix period detail with modern bathrooms and the building has hosted Liszt and Balzac. It suits people who want history on the doorstep and a five-minute walk to the square. The hotel states plainly that guests travelling with pets are welcome and asks to be told in advance so the room can be set up.
