“Hotel Stein is a 56-room design and lifestyle hotel on the right bank of the Salzach, opposite the Old Town, fully renovated and reopened in 2018. It mixes modern and classic Austrian-Venetian interiors and is best known for its seventh-floor Steinterrasse rooftop restaurant and bar. The adults-only policy (guests 16 and over) makes it suit couples and design-minded travellers rather than families. Dogs are accepted on request with no stated size restriction.
