“Hyatt Place Tallinn sits on Sadama between the Rotermann quarter and the Old City Harbour terminals, so the Helsinki ferry is a walk rather than a taxi. The rooms are large by Tallinn standards with separate sitting corners, and the ground floor runs an all-day bar and kitchen. It suits people combining Tallinn with a day in Helsinki, or anyone who wants sea air and the Old Town within fifteen minutes on foot.

Why it's in the collection

The harbour promenade past the Admiralty Basin starts three minutes from the door and runs west to Linnahall and on into Kalamaja. The Rotermann quarter's paved courtyards are right behind the hotel for a short evening loop.
