The hotel sits on the harbour front facing the old town, so the morning walk is straight along the water to the city footbridge, a short walk away, and over onto the peninsula. From there the Riva runs along the seafront to the Sea Organ, and the shaded Queen Jelena Madijevka Park sits on the bastion by the Land Gate.
