“The Meriton stands on Toompuiestee, the road that follows the old moat below Toompea, with the Snelli pond and Toompark directly opposite. It runs 465 rooms, a spa with pools and saunas, and a big conference floor. It suits travellers who want scale and a spa at a moderate price, and who will use the park across the road rather than a hotel garden. The Old Town wall is a two-minute walk up the slope.

Toompark and the Snelli pond are directly across Toompuiestee, and the moat path runs the length of the Old Town's western wall from there to Nunne. Hirvepark is a five-minute climb up towards Toompea.
