“Radisson Blu Daugava is a 378-room hotel on Kuģu iela on the left bank, looking back across the river at the Old Town skyline. It has a spa and a large conference operation, and the National Library of Latvia is 550 metres along the embankment. This side of the river is where Riga's dog walking actually happens, because the parks are bigger and emptier. It suits a traveller who wants space and doesn't mind a bridge or a short tram ride into the centre.
