The High Line Hotel

One of Manhattan's most dog-welcoming hotels with a private garden

This hotel is part of the Daisy Curated Collection. Its information has been researched and verified, but Daisy has not yet personally stayed here. When she does, this page will be upgraded to a full Daisy Verified inspection.

Daisy's Assessment
Researched and verified. Not yet personally stayed.
Set in the neo-Gothic General Theological Seminary building in West Chelsea, this boutique hotel has a large gated garden courtyard and a long reputation as a favourite for downtown dogs. Rooms feel residential and the Intelligentsia coffee bar spills onto the terrace. It suits dog owners who want space to sit outdoors with their pet.

Why it's in the collection

The private garden is a rare bit of calm green in Chelsea, and Chelsea Waterside Park dog run plus Hudson River Park are a short walk. The High Line walkway itself allows only service animals, not pet dogs, because of its limited space and delicate plantings.

Best suited for

Two dogs up to 65 lb (29 kg), not left alone more than two hours.

The open question

How the welcome translates in person, at dinner and around the hotel. That's what a Daisy stay will confirm.

Pet pricing

USD 100, Per stay up to five nights, plus USD 100 for six to 27 nights

Dogs are welcome in the lobby and garden courtyard but not in the Intelligentsia coffee bar. Dogs must be on a leash in all public areas and should not be left unattended in guestrooms for more than two hours. A liability form is signed at check-in.

Where we can't yet confirm a detail first-hand, we mark it plainly rather than guess. A Daisy stay will close every gap.
