The River Leven path runs from the hotel door towards Backbarrow, and the Windermere shore and Fell Foot Park with its off-lead south meadow are both about ten minutes away by car.

The Swan Inn pub takes dogs and so do selected lounge areas, along with the riverside paths and grounds. The brasserie, the function spaces, the health club and the pool are people only. Dog-friendly cottages sleeping two to eight take up to two dogs and have their own outdoor access. Rooms are not serviced while a dog is in them.
Where we can't yet confirm a detail first-hand, we mark it plainly rather than guess. A Daisy stay will close every gap.
