“A townhouse hotel on Országház utca, up on Castle Hill, with a grill restaurant downstairs. It belongs to the Zsidai family group, which also runs Pest-Buda further along the same street. The pet rule is written into the published hotel policy rather than left to the front desk, and that policy says in as many words that pet means dog to them. It suits people who want the quiet end of the Castle District, away from the coach parties at Fisherman's Bastion.

Why it's in the collection

Tóth Árpád sétány, the lime tree promenade along the western castle wall, is two minutes away and runs the whole length of the hill. Vérmező park, a big flat lawn below the castle, is about fifteen minutes down through Bécsi kapu.
