CERVO Mountain Resort
Ski-in lodges above Zermatt where well-behaved dogs go everywhere
This hotel is part of the Daisy Curated Collection. Its information has been researched and verified, but Daisy has not yet personally stayed here. When she does, this page will be upgraded to a full Daisy Verified inspection.
What we've verified
Step out of the lodge and you are already on the forest paths above the village, with the Sunnegga funicular next door for a fast lift up to the Findeln and Leisee trails, and the walk down through Winkelmatten to the Vispa promenade for an easy evening loop.
Dogs must be leashed throughout Zermatt village by municipal rule, and housekeeping needs to agree a time if the dog is alone in the room.
How the welcome translates in person, at dinner and around the hotel. That's what a Daisy stay will confirm.

What we've confirmed, at a glance.
Verified with the hotel, honestly marked.
Up to two dogs per room. Well-behaved dogs are welcome everywhere at CERVO, including the Bazaar breakfast restaurant and the other dining rooms. The hotel tries to give dog owners a first-floor room with garden access when available. Dogs may be left alone in the room, but you should agree a cleaning time with reception as housekeeping will not enter otherwise. Zermatt is car-free: drive to Täsch and take the 12-minute shuttle train, or the train from Visp direct to Zermatt, then the hotel's electric CERVO Mobil picks you up at the station on request (confirm with reception that your dog can ride along). The resort closes between seasons, with the 2026 summer season running 4 June to 17 October, so check opening dates before booking.
Where we can't yet confirm a detail first-hand, we mark it plainly rather than guess. A Daisy stay will close every gap.
Everything, without the wall of text.
