The St Mawes waterfront is at the bottom of the steps and the coast path to St Just in Roseland and the castle runs from the end of the village. Summers Beach in St Mawes closes to dogs in the middle of the day through July and August, while Carne and Pendower twenty minutes away stay open all year.
