You are standing at the Furi gondola, so the Zmutt path and the walks up through Furi towards the Gornergletscher gorge start at the front door, and the Vispa riverside promenade runs back into the village. Summer-only access means the high meadow trails to Findeln and Sunnegga are open and snow free.

Dogs stay in House C only, and only in summer, so winter ski stays with a dog are not possible here. Small dogs may also be accepted in the Family Suites with prior notice and a small surcharge, so tell the hotel about your dog when you book rather than at check-in. Dogs are not admitted to the breakfast room or the spa and pool area. The hotel runs a free electric shuttle between Zermatt station and the hotel from 8am to 7pm on arrival and departure days, but it has not published whether dogs ride in it, so confirm ahead or plan the roughly 15-minute walk from the station. From Täsch, dogs travel on the Matterhorn Gotthard shuttle train with a dog ticket. The property closes for a period each autumn, most recently mid October to mid November.
