Mont Cervin Palace
Grand 1851 palace on Bahnhofstrasse that admits dogs by prior arrangement
This hotel is part of the Daisy Curated Collection. Its information has been researched and verified, but Daisy has not yet personally stayed here. When she does, this page will be upgraded to a full Daisy Verified inspection.
What we've verified
Step out of the front door and the Vispa riverside promenade and the old Hinterdorf lanes are minutes away, while the Gornergrat railway a short walk off takes leashed dogs up to the Riffelsee and Riffelberg paths. The gentle Zmutt trail from the top of the village is an easy half-day out with a lunch stop.
Dogs are accepted only with the hotel's prior consent and must be leashed in all public areas.
How the welcome translates in person, at dinner and around the hotel. That's what a Daisy stay will confirm.
CHF 40, Per pet per night
What we've confirmed, at a glance.
Verified with the hotel, honestly marked.
Request permission for your dog when booking, as consent is required in advance. Dogs stay in the room with you and may cross public areas on a lead, but are not admitted to the restaurants, the spa and pool area, the kids club or the sun lawn. A dog may be left alone in the room, but housekeeping will not enter while it is unattended. The hotel closes each autumn, roughly from late September to early or mid December, so check dates before booking. Zermatt is car-free: drive as far as Täsch, then take the shuttle train (dogs travel on Swiss trains, with a ticket for larger dogs) or an electric taxi to Zermatt. The hotel meets guests at Zermatt station with a horse-drawn carriage or electric shuttle, but confirm in advance whether your dog can ride along.
Where we can't yet confirm a detail first-hand, we mark it plainly rather than guess. A Daisy stay will close every gap.
Everything, without the wall of text.
