Agia Paraskevi beach is at the door, and the quieter Platanias beach is a few hundred metres west along the coast road. Koukounaries beach and the Strofilia wetland pine forest, one of the best flat dog walks on the island, are about 5 km further west, and the bus along the south coast road stops outside.
