“The Highland sits at Mockingbird Station across from SMU, a refreshed upscale hotel with the Knife steakhouse, a pool and a hot tub. It suits travellers with a larger dog who want easy Katy Trail access and DART rail at the door. It's one of the more generous weight policies here, taking pets well above the small-dog caps common downtown. The fee is a modest non-refundable per-stay charge.
