The beach runs two miles at low tide with no seasonal dog ban at all, and the South West Coast Path starts at the top of the slipway for the cliff walk towards Mawgan Porth. The beach cafes along the bay take dogs in their outdoor areas.

Dog rooms sit across the whole hotel rather than one floor, though not every room takes dogs. Dogs eat with you in The Living Space and The Beach Hut and are welcome in reception, and they stay on a lead in public areas. Zacry's has an open kitchen so dogs don't go in there. The beach below the hotel takes dogs at any time of year.
