Vets in Germany for your dog's tapeworm tablet and passport stamp

German vets charge by a legal fee schedule, so prices are predictable. In Munich I used filu, and it was the easiest vet visit I've had anywhere.

What it costs in Germany

€45 to 135, plus VAT and the tablet

  • Vets bill between one and three times the GOT rate. Nights, weekends and public holidays cost at least double plus a €50 emergency fee, so book a weekday.
  • The passport stamp can't be done by video call. The vet has to see your dog and give or watch the tablet.
