Where your dog can eat with you

  • AMO Bistrot

Restaurant · Italian with Asian touches, tapas and bao · Centro storico, Palazzo Forti near Piazza delle Erbe

    InsideYesTerraceYes

The restaurant's own FAQ answers 'Can I bring my dog?' with a clear yes, asking only that the dog sits beside your table and keeps the passage clear. Set in the courtyard of Palazzo Forti with indoor rooms and outdoor tables. Evenings only on weekdays, lunch and dinner at weekends.

  • Bistrot al 2 (Due Torri Hotel)

Hotel restaurant · Veneto and Italian, fine dining at night · Centro storico, Piazza Sant'Anastasia

    InsideYesTerraceNot confirmed

The hotel's own restaurant page has a written animals policy: tell them about the dog when you book so they can give you a suitable table, keep the dog with you on a lead, one dog per table. The dining room is the indoor Sala dell'Aquila, so this is a genuine dogs-inside answer. Hotel pet fee is €20 a day for small and medium dogs. The separate breakfast room page carries no pet statement, so ask before booking.

For the dogHotel welcome kit with mat and food and water bowls for hotel guests. Restaurant reserves a dedicated table when you flag the dog at booking.

  • Rooftop Gourmet Grill Restaurant / Terrazza Panoramica (Due Torri Hotel)

Hotel restaurant · Grill, cocktails, rooftop dining · Centro storico, Piazza Sant'Anastasia

    InsideNot confirmedTerraceYes

The 300 square metre rooftop terrace above Sant'Anastasia carries the same written animals policy as the bistrot: flag the dog at booking, lead on, one dog per table. Open-air and seasonal, opening in late May and running daily from 11am. In winter the offer moves indoors and the page does not say whether dogs follow, so check for cold-month visits.

For the dogDedicated table reserved when you flag the dog at booking.

  • Arya Bar & Mixology and breakfast hall (Hotel Indigo Verona Grand Hotel des Arts)

Hotel restaurant · Breakfast, all-day snacks and cocktails · Corso Porta Nuova, between the station and Piazza Bra

    Daisy has eaten here
    InsideNot confirmedTerraceNot confirmed

The hotel's stated policy is one dog or cat up to 20 kg at €10 a night, with a dog bed and bowls on request, but the site never says where in the hotel the dog can go and the breakfast hall and Arya Bar pages do not mention pets at all. In practice breakfast with a dog was awkward, especially dining alone, so do not assume the dog is welcome at the table. The bar serves the garden in warmer months, which may be the easier option.

For the dogDog bed and food and water bowls available from the front desk, pet walking area, staff can suggest dog-friendly bars and restaurants.

Questions people ask

Which restaurants in Verona let dogs inside?
AMO Bistrot and Bistrot al 2 (Due Torri Hotel) let dogs inside, from the restaurant's own published policy or a visit by Daisy. Check with the restaurant when you book.
Where in Verona can my dog sit with me on the terrace?
Rooftop Gourmet Grill Restaurant / Terrazza Panoramica (Due Torri Hotel) takes dogs outside but we couldn't confirm inside.
What does "not confirmed" mean?
We couldn't find the restaurant's dog rule in writing and haven't eaten there with Daisy, so we haven't guessed. Many will say yes, so ask when you book.

Ring or message before you go

This is a research tool, not the last word. Restaurants change hands, managers change their minds, and a place that takes dogs at lunch can say no at a busy Saturday dinner. Every listing shows where the answer came from and when we checked it. Confirm with the restaurant itself when you book, and tell them you’re bringing your dog.
